about

michelangelo (commonly referred to as mikey) is the youngest adopted son of master splinter. he is known as the most 'wild' and 'carefree' of his brothers. despite his childlike disposition he is a highly skilled and dangerous fighter when he wants to be. able to handle his own when it comes to combat. even though he is skilled he and donatello are often labelled as the 'b-team' by their two older brothers, much to his annoyance. he often feels undermined and underestimated by the others due to him being more immature than his brothers and struggling to concentrate when it comes to training.mikey is the most naturally gifted of his brothers, but he does not apply himself during training due to his aforementioned struggles with a short attention span. he is not considered to be very conventionally intelligent, but what he lacks in common sense he makes up for in creativity and ability to think outside the box. often surprising those around him with his outlandish ideas that often end up working in his favour.

• Mikey has very strong instincts. he can usually tell when something's not right even when others can't.
• He has ADHD.
• He can actually cook somewhat, but he gets bored and decides to 'experiment' often - leading to the disastrous dishes he cooks up.
• Being a mutant bothers him sometimes. Mostly when it comes to not being able to experience the same things his human friends do e.g. parties, school etc etc.
• He has a tendency to blow things out of proportion / over dramatize certain situations.
• He looks up to his brothers a lot, especially Leo. Seeing him almost as a second parent.
• when he pays enough attention he can be quite in tune with other's emotions especially those he knows well. He can usually tell when something is wrong with his family or friends even when they hide it well.
• he tends to see the best in others even when it may be obvious to others that their intentions are not good.
• he loves listening to donatello talk about his inventions or 'sciency stuff' even though he doesn't understand a lot of it.
• he is much more affectionate than his siblings.
